Lyra does own more than one cardigan...

... but yet she always seemed to be wearing this one! I think that's because it was a favourite of both mine and Tom's. It fitted her for ages too and she only stopped wearing it in about May. It is one item of clothing I will never be able to give away. It has a lot of memories attached and was a present from a very good friend.
