Cooch's Bridge

American light infantry and cavalry encountered British and Hessian troops near this bridge, September 3, 1777. This was the only battle of the American Revolution on Delaware soil.

I drive over this bridge often and it is very narrow. When two cars pass at this point one must slow down.
