Sentimental over a tricycle

Another day like yesterday ahead of me, so blipped at 7.39 precisely this morning on my walk to the train station.

Spotted this little old tricycle abandoned at the gate of a house a few doors up from us.

Judging by its appearance it's quite old and I couldn't help wondering how many generations of children had wheeled up and down the street on it.

I also thought it looked a little sad, as if the grand children were all grown up now, so it was time to send it on its way.
