Raheny evening

A quick evening blip and immediate upload before getting back to work, which has taken up the entire day.

I was beginning to feel a bit stir-crazy, so hopped in the car and went up to Raheny for a bit of a blip wander and some supermarket shopping. The church in Raheny is one of those monster edifices which were all the rage in the sixties and burdened parishes all around the country with massive debts. Now the congregations are almost gone, and the vast spaces are more empty than full - changed times indeed.

I enjoyed my little break, was happy to catch the play of the evening light in this strange cloister-type space near the main church entrance, and now have a not-so-empty fridge. Time for a bite toe at, then back to work.
