Sometimes the clouds let the Sun in.
I have been spending some time recently thinking about the things that shape how we live and relate to each other.
The walls of Edinburgh simultaneously define groups of people, and divide those whose lives overlap.
Parties bring people together in celebration, or unite people around a single cause or purpose. And yet it doesn't take much for the word to become a word of separation... the intolerance and closed-mindedness that keeps people apart.
So I was receptive to the view that I gazed at on my way home. Clouds are often accused of keeping the sun at bay.
This evening, the could let the Sun in.
