it must be summer

Finally got a new camera after realising that the old one (£20 from Tesco about 3 years ago) only produced out of focus images and in any case you couldn't see th e image on the screen if the sun was out in any way at all.

Decided on a simple image of a rose in the front garden to try things out - hopefully I will get better.

No post processing but I will be starting to play with The Gimp soon
