Dr. J's Day

Corson Building

Wonderful dinner at the Corson Building with A&S and new friends A&M. Lovely garden with lots of fresh herbs and veggies and some chickens too! The evening started off with some lovely rose bubbly in the garden, then we moved inside to start the feast. Everything was served family style at tables that seated roughly 10 people. We had:

- chicken liver mousse with pickled fiddleheads
- gravlax with salmon skin cracklings and cucumber
- marinated mussels with baby carrots and radishes
- halibut with a breaded pine nut topping
- chicken and morels in a champagne sauce
- simple green salad
- house made sausage

Dessert was probably the best part of the meal (and that's saying a lot because I'm not a dessert person....) - yogurt sorbet with shortbread cookies. That was accompanied by a nice glass of ice wine.

Delightful! Very special experience and can't wait to go again.
