A watchful figure makes sure this religious enclave on the Isle of Sand stays calm and peaceful. The area is known as the District of Mutual Respect because the churches of four different denominations or faiths have co-existed for years here. Nowadays it's a place for a romantic stroll, no bars or commercial places with gas street lights lit up every night by lamplighters.
