Went to Twin Peaks today to get this close up. Compare it to my earlier shot taken months ago from my building.

Today is the anniversary of Sep 11. I found myself stalking a hawk or eagle or some creature gliding and hovering on the updraft between the two peaks this morning. Pretty sombre anniversary. I found the quiet of the hike and the solitude comforting.
