serious gardening

this is my littlest's garden - she has such enormous potato plants that she needs a digger and truck to cope with all the work she needs to do.

It's so much fun to see how impressed she is by gardens, how things grow and what bugs and slugs do all day. She's totally amazed by the fact that one can plant a potato and then a 'potato tree' will grow. I've given her this bit of the garden as her own. She had four potato plants, one tomato plant, a row of radishes, two salad plants, some carrots, two brocoli plants, some onions, some sunflowers and A LOT of weeds.
