The Tree (& The Pylon)

I quite like this tree and the fact that it sits alone in this field, but I wish the pylon and power lines weren't there. I could Photoshop them out but I can't be bothered and why lie about the scene? This is what it looks like and that's that.

I've taken a bit of a break from taking photos over the past few days and instead spent a bit of time looking through the archives, mainly photos from last year, and processing some which I had dismissed at the time. I also managed to delete a fair few duff shots and got my Lightroom catalogue down to about 4500 pictures for 2009, which is still quite a lot - thank goodness for keywording (and large hard drives)! Up to 4839 pictures for 2010, although a lot of them are of my darling daughter Kirsten so they'll get kept of course.
