Rusty post

There are lots of rusty old posts with rusty old barbed wire just outside our school. This one frequently catches my attention (and sometimes my bag) when I walk past.

This was in colour, but then I saw it on the thumbnail and liked it in black and white. The colour version is here. Somehow it seems like a very bright and clear day today. I think I'll keep photographing this post until I come up with the 'perfect' shot of it, but for now, this will do nicely.

Off to walk Cousteau minus camera tonight. He'll be pleased.

EDIT: Thanks to 42, I no longer have to choose which photo I prefer. He has taught me to 'stack' photos and here they both are in black and white and full technicolour glory!
