Break from the rain!!

We had a break from the unusually rainy spring we've had today! What a treat! We spent the morning playing at the park with a group of friends and spent the afternoon playing at home in the backyard. Tyler wasn't feeling super well and around 3:30p.m., took himself to bed and fell asleep for a couple of hours. So, Mia and I had a hoooooot of a time!

She was also a little on the tired side, as I didn't enforce a nap today. But under ideal circumstances, her tiredness turns into uncontrollable laughter instead of cranky pants, so we spent the afternoon giggling and laughing about the most unusual things! It was an afternoon to remember, that's for sure. Here she is, jumping on the bed, being ham of the century, like she normally is!

This evening, after dinner, we had a game of baseball with Dad and Aunt Kelly and her entire crew showed up too and added a great deal of excitement to the game. After the game, we curled up in jammies and watched the Mariner's win. what a treat. Tyler ended up watching the entire game, because of his late nap. He was thrilled, but I am slightly concerned about his state of mind tomorrow. We shall see!
