Another two-hour Chinese lesson today, during which it become apparent that I've forgotten just about every character I've ever learned, though on the plus side I learned the words for intestines, sausage and baggage reclaim. I consoled myself with a nice lunch and a spot of shopping.

This is our table runner, bought from a Beijing market when we arrived and for which we probably paid too much money (I've learned how to bargain properly since then) but we like it anyway. And for a short time, it's clean!
