Kopenhagen/day1

I had lots of more postcard like snaps of the old port etc, but this picture really captured the city's atmosphere for me. It appears you are not a proper Danish parent if you don't own one of these Christiania bikes to kart your kids around (or your machines, dogs, etc. we saw it all today). I particularly liked the fact this mother seemed to be waiting with her kids for whoever was going to cycle her around....

The city goes crazy for bikes - we discovered this during our big walking tour today - tomorrow we are hiring bikes.
