My life in blips

By Goretex

It's Friday!

The chives are looking very pretty at the moment as the flowers are beginning to open. Unfortunately, left it a bit late in the evening to get good light.

This is the first night of the week that the BBQ hasn't been on, nevertheless, we still managed to enjoy tea outside tonight.

Lovely warm sunny day today with the school sports being run. The house which hadn't won the trophy since 1986, were jubilant in their victory today. I had to satisfy myself with a third in the staff race - all good fun though and as we tell the children, it's the taking part that counts!? Wonder if that is what all the world cup managers are telling their teams?

Did a spot more gardening tonight with the help of MP (not) who seems to have a love of soil at the moment. Final pots planted up and only a place for 5 nasturtium seedlings to find.

Sat at the chimnea for a wee while, let it burn down before heading over to Killer Queen's to sit in front of their chimnea and sample 'World Cup' flavoured crisps.

Looking forward to seeing everyone for a BBQ tomorrow Unfortunately, Mags and Mr Mags can't manage.
