Wild One

This pink rose is the first I have seen on the rose bush that sits beneath the plum tree in my garden.

I am not a gardener but I do try to keep the garden in a semblance of order - out of respect for my Dad, who did like to "garden".

I suspect this rose bush is well over 40 years old and has probably gone "wild". However, around this time of the year it gets full of roses and really does look a picture. I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder?
