Nature in harmony
We had an enjoyable time this morning at the Stroud Festival of Nature, which had all sorts of goodies - from wood-carving to real-life llamas! And there was some jolly folk music provided by the people pictured.
It fitted in perfectly with Stroud's image as a pioneering 'green' town - a reputation that makes it such a refreshing place to live.
I think it was the first town in the country to have a Green Party councillor, but I could go on for the rest of the day quoting any number of environmental credentials on its CV.
Well, the sun shone, the families turned out in force and it was a very pleasant place to be.
There was even an ape on a bicycle... but that will have to wait for another day!
