Stan and I took pretty much the same shot of each other today, then used more or less the same post-processing technique - 1) lighten the eyes, 2) desaturate to b&w, 3) bump up the contrast and brightness quite high, 4) burn the remaining dark areas a little, 5) apply the Picnik CinemaScope effect and 6) bring up the detail in the eyes and mouth a little.

I really like the resulting image here which has a 1960s Audrey Hepburn feel to it.
