No Smoke Without Fire

A more leisurely start this morning and a gentle walk through Moore Nature Reserve. Lots of bird song and saw a beautiful wild orchid. This was the lovely view from one of the hides.

In the afternoon we headed to West Kirby and walked from the Marine Lake to Red Rocks and back again. Someone had set fire to the marram grass that bordered the beach and adjacent to Royal Liverpool golf course.
