Lift off!!

We have a lift off!

We had a vérrrrrrry busy Saturday!! C&R snr left home about 06:30 this morning, R snr's rugbyteam, the First Team of GHS, the school where he teaches, participated in a 7's Rugby tournament in our neigbouring town, Brits! There were lots of participating schools from Pretoria, Brits, Hartbeespoort, Magaliesberg and more! It was the end of the school rugbyseason as well.

R's team won all three the matches they played! A vérrry proud note to end the season on!!

This whole week turned out to be very successful on the sporting side for us! The Blue Bulls won the Super 14 Trophy, the Proteas won their 5 match 20/20 cricket series in the West Indies, Bafana Bafana won their match against Denmark today, the Boks won their rugby match in Whales today and R snr's First Team won all three their last matches for this year! Great stuff!!

C took these shots of a lift off of the regular Saturday hot air balloon excursions at Harties, on their way to put fuel in the Jeep before leaving for Brits.

R jnr's school had their very first Food Fair or School féte ? everything they do is a 'first' because it is the first year of the school's existence! It was a huge success!

Him and I arrived at school just after 09:00, there were só many activities, it was an absolutely great day! I took zillions of pics, but the hot air balloon turned out to be my favourite! I stayed until just after 3pm, but he had to stay till the end and then helped to tidy up, he only came home after dark, totally exchausted!!

All of us are really tired and plan on going to bed early tonight, and maybe, just maybe, have a wee bit of a sleep in tomorrow!! ;-)
