Dedication

This is the Cherry blossom hill at the Alnwick Garden. We were too late to see the blossom here but it has been under planted this year by thousands of magnificent pink tulips.

The Cherry orchard is new since my last visit and we will have to come again at an earlier time to see the blossom, but we discovered that you can dedicate a tree in this area so we have decided we will do this in memory of my mother in law who loved gardens and planted cherry blossom for her husband and younger son.

The weather stayed fine for our two hour visit but as we continued our journey to Scotland it began to rain!
