Belfast

First full day in Belfast and I can thoroughly recommend it as a place to visit! Wonderfully friendly people, lovely setting between hills and sea, and interesting street scapes...almost impossible to think of the years of 'troubles' that dominated my impressions of this place as I grew up only 60 miles away in Scotland. There are some physical and cultural resonances in this shot for me and, no doubt, several of you as you view it...terraced housing, red heads, Celtic hoops, and fences but now, in 2010, there is little sinister about any of them.
