Saw-whet Owl

I heard about an owl who had taken up residence in a flicker box, so I went out on this first summer-like day to take a look. The little darling was very co-operative! Saw-whet Owls are actually considered quite rare in Newfoundland and this one may well constitute the second confirmed breeding record for the Province.
