Brave fishermen
Although the fishermen aren't very visible, you can see them on the flat rock about 25 metres below where we were standing. The tide was coming in fast and splashing over the rock which sent them scurrying further back for safety.
We saw one man get a thorough drenching with one wave. Many lose their lives here, being swept of these rocks into the sea. They were catching quite a few fish.
The little round patches on the higher rock is the home of a gannet colony.
No gannets at this time of year - they have all flown north and will not return here until next August/September I think.
