Lewisia rediviva "white form"
Thanks to Rebecca and Loraine at the APS meeting who found an all white population of the bitterroot in Irish Canyon
The Genus lewisia is named after Lewis from the Lewis and Clark trip across the western US in the early 1800s. Lewisia rediviva was one of the plants collected by Lewis, and is the "type" specimen for the Genus. Common in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming it clips the northern counties of Colorado
