Lush.

Sloped into Sunday with a phone call to the daughter around lunchtime. Still in my PJ's I was told off for for forgetting how late it was and then for forgetting it was actually Sunday.

Then set out for a walk with the man on some forestry commission land nearby. Was gorgeous. Not too hot, but warm enough to leave the jackets in the car as we set out. Had a good laugh at the people we passed who were (by the looks of things) kitted out for snow, hurricanes and ice. Needless to say they had the last laugh.

The mist which had been sitting on top of the surrounding hills soon began to roll in and the air that had been pregnant with moisture as well as the heady scent of gorse and pine delivered it's weighty load on top of us. So, looking like refugees from a wet t-shirt competition we turned around and, with cameras stuffed up under said shirts, we headed back down the track to the car. This one was taken on the way back down.

Home for a warm shower followed by a very, very ripe (ripe enough to run away) piece of Gorgonzola with olives and bread for lunch. Perfect Saturday Sunday!
