At the Museum

Today as it's half term and I have school aged children with me I braved a trip to the National Waterways Museum as it's less then a 10 minute walk from our house!

It was a bit of a washout as it's poured down with rain all day so we couldn't take the boat ride along the canal. Instead we spent quite a long time in the craft area where all the kids had a go at brass rubbings, colouring and making a paper boat!

I think they all enjoyed it. We then came back and had a picnic lunch on the floor of my front room! Messy but lots of fun!!!
