Belfast EMO Kids

Went into Belfast centre on Saturday. Walked in over Ormeau Park and then along the embankment. Wandered around in a lovely old market called St George's - food, art and crafts. Then onto the City Hall where there were literally hundreds of young people, all very similarly dressed with similar hairstyles sitting, chatting, having ice creams and enjoying the sun. I thought it must have been for some kind of convention and asked three policeman what the event was. 'Oh no, nothing special at all,' they said. 'This is just a typical sunny Saturday afternoon in Belfast and this is where all the kids gather.' Apparently this style is called EMO. You live and learn!
