But I think the kids were happy it did as we'd 'threatened' them with another nice family walk. Ended up indoors most of the day instead, with a bit of a bum-numbing box-set, Sky-plus catch-up and DVD marathon.

Started with a mixed platter comprising the second episode of Terry Pratchett's Postal, closely followed by two episodes of Dr. Who. Then it was on to the main course of the last five episodes of Sons of Anarchy (adults only, far too rich for the kids). We're now over indulging on a sumptuous pudding in the form of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland in glorious Blu Ray. We'll be stuffed after all that, with hardly room to squeeze in a wafer theen meent.

My eyes will be well and truly 16:9 by then so it'll be early to bed (to catch up with some radio on the iPlayer no doubt).
