Neath the Copper Beech
Out and about for work today.
I chanced to be near a place I hadn't been for nearly 16 years.
My youngest brother used to live across the lane from the cemetry, but unfortunately that wasn't the reason for my visit all those years ago.
A friend suffered a cot death of her 9 month old Mathew. He was born exactly a year after Curlyfries. He is buried between the roots of this beautiful tree.
The tree can be seen from the main road between Perth and Dundee, so every time I am travelling along the road I can see it and think of that wee smasher.
Not a bad memorial marker.
A good return to community work, but might need my running shoes tomorrow.
