Day 2 in Sehwan

Shiite Muslims performing self-flagellation inside the the tomb of Shahbaz Qalandar. While some people were beating their chests with their hands, the others were hitting their backs with sharp objects or striking their heads with knives until the blood gushed out.

There were chants of "Ya Hussain, Ya Hussain" in the air while the self-flagellation continued. I caught some drops of blood on my lens and clothes during the shoot.
