batten down the hatches

Quite a pleasant day today weather wise.
Came home from work and went straight into the garden to do a bit of dead heading and noticed my poppies looking particularly blousey in the sunlight, got the camera out and started to take some pictures before they completely go over with the expected rainfall and I spotted the bee on the Ceanothus. The little blighter wouldn`t keep still long enough for me to get a decent shot, I was following him from flower to flower and managed to capture him above this one.
Couldn`t decide which to post so you`ve got a two for one tonight.
