We're on a roll...

Es was on a trip al day today with the Brownies so I was the lone girlie with the boys.

We took them swimming...we had a great time, full of energy. The wee boy was so excited when he saw the swimming stuff getting ready and started shouting, "swimming, swimming!"

After lunch we went cycling in Beechwood Park. There is a mini traffic park there for bicycles. Previously it has always been staffed in the summer and only open between certain hours but not this year, it is no longer staffed and open all hours. The extra access is good but I hope that it not being locked any more in the evening doesn't give the vandals free range. It's a facility that has been there for years...I remember touring around there on my bike as a kid. Great fun.

Anyway, after Es taking to the cycle path on Friday evening the boys have been more interested. Buncle spent quite a while on the bike yesterday and was almost away. We thought that more space in the park would help today and sure enough it did. He was going for long stretches solo...then he would panic and loose it a bit...but he has the bug now and it won't be long:-)

It was only our two boys in the entire space but that didn't stop a minor RTA...the air was light blue with accusations and there was plenty of road rage...brotherly love eh?
