The Rose City - #pdx

It rained so hard last night. At the International Rose Trial grounds this morning, the ground was really soggy. Some of the poor roses had really suffered, but others withstood the rain so well - a good way to choose for your garden! This photo tries to capture some of the roses with the city way in the background.

Other highlights today, a food tour around Portland and supper cooked by students at the Oregon Culinary Institute - it's a good thing I am doing lots of walking!
