Simplicity

I have been away, staying at 4 different houses in the last 10 days, after having two fond guests to stay in the same week.

I had a rainy few hours driving home, then got back to my door this afternoon after brushing past this wet shrub.

Even though I was half asleep and longing for some tea I could not resist trying to catch a rain shot.

This is a calm fresh and simple view. It feels like the days to come. (Until a frenetic Friday).
I have loved seeing so many people, having so many conversations and different scenes, but I am glad to be back to some solitude and quiet.
My cat is puring at very low volume by my desk, and I have not had to say a word for two hours. Life can be good.
