Weather

I don't have much to say about the weather. It's hot, with continued hot, interspersed with periods of hot, and about a 20% chance of rain thrown in every day just to keep us all from going crazy. The forecast high today is 96.

So this dead raccoon is more interesting to me. If we see these guys it is a fleeting glance as they run away. Death affords a hard long look. You might like to notice his 'fingers'. Their long fingers aid them in catching small freshwater prey like mussels and crawdads. They are often seen washing their food, which gives them their French name, raton laveur. RIP Mr Raccoon.
