Happy Potatoes

After a lovely spell of beautiful weather the rain has returned.

The plants are very happy I am sure. The people not so much. Though I don't hate rain, our beautiful country depends on it to stay lush and green.

This is a leaf from one of my potato plants soaked with rain!

We haven't grown potatoes before and I was shocked at how quickly they grew and how huge the plants are now.

I think we may have planted a few too many, so the neighbours will be given "gifts" of potatoes in the not too distant future!
