River frontage

Whilst out running around Lewes' Railway Land nature reserve I took the path along the bank of the River Ouse, in the shadow of Cliffe Hill. This lovely old building has a most magnificent location. The Ouse, being only a few miles from the port of Newhaven, is tidal, shown by the telltale marks on the wall that reveal the daily water level.
