Hot hot hot!

It was truly a beautiful day today. Sunny and hot, but not unbearable.
The kakigori (shaved ice) maker just had to come out. I had a few great pix of M plus the result, but since this journal is really supposed to be about her, I couldn't ignore these pure snow cone induced sparkling eyes.

In Japan there is an expression "oyabaka" which translates as "idiot parent" and describes people blinded by love for their own kids.

Maybe I am oyabaka but sometimes I look at my beautiful girl and wonder where the hell she came from. i can't be responsible for this. I wonder if I will ever stop thinking that, far less ever tell her about these thoughts....
