Setting out

A dozen juvenile conifers were removed from the footprint of the house today. We hope to transplant some of them elsewhere on the site, at least the smaller ones (the bigger 15 ft ones got damaged during excavation).

The house is now set out ready for the archaeologist tomorrow.

This blip shows the site from a different angle. The house will sit to the left of the JCB (I have left a few conifers) and the grass track in the foreground leads to the paddock. The garage will be sited to the end of the hardcore parking area (centre left) and a workshop/shed to the right.
