Lilac Down Pour

The lilac has almost completely dumped all its flowers onto the path up to my shed, in the pond and pretty much everywhere...there are three at the top of the path. They're all the same - it's like a lilac carpet.

I hate how quickly the lilac goes over, for a week or two we have these beautiful pale purple flowers which as they get older seem to get paler until they fall and are pretty much white.

I blame the rain for how quickly it happened the last couple of years. Rain treats flowers badly.
