fog

Foggy is how I felt today.

Concentrating on yet another report - numbers this time. And the deadline got changed at midday today from tomorrow to today. Crap. And we all had to work late and they got about the quality you would expect when you change a deadline like that.


So fog clears and there were momentary bright spots in my day - actually quite a few of them now that I think about it: an impromptu lunch with a good friend, friendly conversations, my boss walking by as I was trying to capture the foggy buildings, saying how beautiful it was and that she never would have noticed if I hadn't been taking pictures of it. Now that made me feel good, to share the unexpected beauty in a mundane day.

Well now I feel better for blipping, and this foggy cloud has a silver lining.
