I'm one of their regulars in York.
Not Ilkley or Harrogate.

They have the best of everything.
Breads, cakes, even more ...
Liveried assistants,
Marquetried décor.

I queue then say my piece:
"My usual, please.
A Swiss Cheese loaf (with Chives),
Two seasonal quiches,
But not the macaroon (for my wife)."

"I need to blip. Something special.
Something just right.
That orange cheesecake!
I see it, bathed in light!?"
