Abandoned Kitten..

Me and cath decided to make an effort to do some form of exercise today so we went to mentiri to do a 3 k walk...
we were both as keen as one another (actually Cath was far keener than me!) and we got there to find a poor wee kitten, mewing frantically and hobbling as he had a poorly right fore leg!

we sat in the car.. dogs in the back... and evaluated the situation.
ignore the cat.. walk on by
dont do the walk and take the cat to caths house and see whats what from there..

So thats what we did.. i went and got the cat from the little hut where he had climbed too..
he was pretty clean, but had awfully crusty eyes, and a bad limp.

we took him to the vets, and he shaved his leg as its very swollen..and i think gave him some antibiotics and painkillers..
He isnt sure if he will be able to get the full use of his leg back.. but were hopeful..

He is such a sweetie.. was just happy to be held and cared for..
purred all the way to caths house..

SO.. with 4 weeks to go i can safely say after 3 years of Brunei's awful animal situation... Im still not any more hardened to it than i was when i arrived.......

maybe a saving grace...
as it means we still care
