Chaser and the daisies
Sorry. I warned you I'd be going on a lot about dragonflies. I couldn't avoid posting this, though (the other photos I took today were of strawberries and the [numerous] raindrops on my window this evening. You didn't really want those).
Again, I grabbed another 10 minutes at lunchtime in the garden at work with my camera. Not far from where I saw Tuesday's Broad-bodied Chaser, this Four-spotted Chaser sat motionless amongst the daisies.
The weather this week has been grey, cool and damp, on the whole, but this mini wildflower meadow is full of insects enjoying the pollen and nectar. That, of course, makes it a good place for dragonflies to hang out. The pond is an added attraction.
