Pied Flycatcher

Had a bit of free time this afternoon, so I went down to the river hoping to photograph a pair of dippers I've been watching. After an hour and no sign of the dippers, I thought I'd try to snap one of the Pied Flycatchers that were happily flitting about above my head. They are amazingly agile in the air, sometimes turning mid-flight to catch an insect. Really a pleasure to watch.
