The Water Dragon's Eye

Dragon Kings of the four seas
North and South and East and West
Rulers of moving water
Enraged they come as water spouts
and wet winds and terrible tides
and the spines of the hurricanes
But appeased or just tired
as dew and springs and fog
as soft rain and nebulous mist
and the cool breath in a rocky stream
Still image of water holds it silent
calms the Dragons' sensibilities
They remain submersed
content in their substance
