The Ikea Principle
The Ikea Principle is a law or force of nature which states that;
"even if you think you have got everything you need from that flat packed sweedish hell hole you will alway have some reason to have to make another journey back to pick up the missing part".
In this instance a light fitting with no shade.
Oh I also enjoyed the screwless conections to the light contacts. There can be no joy greater than trying to force a few mm of soft plyable copper strands into spring loaded slit that Geof Capes would have trouble opening with a 16 ft fulcrum while trying to hold up the light fitting and balance on the top of a ladder.
