Mrs42 bought some sort of wonder cure for our lawn that promises lusher greener grass and no weeds in 7 days ... or something like that.

This is much better bigger.

Except our lawn consists mainly of weeds and moss, so I think we'll be having a couple of patches of bare earth this time next week :-)
